Ownership and custody tracked independently

Ownership and custody can coexist, but they are not the same thing and tracking them requires different logic. ST tracks both independently and separated from location and status. This is crucial for managing assets owned by different departments or groups, managing items owned by another organization, or tracking consignment inventory. You can see which items in your facility belong to someone else, and which items you own that are currently in someone else's hands. Both views are native to the platform, not reports assembled after the fact.

External customers or partners can log in and see items you hold in custody that belong to them. Real-time visibility without phone calls, emails, or manual reports. Location hierarchy

Panatrack ST supports a flexible, multi-level location model that reflects how your operation actually works. Define facilities, warehouses, offices, job sites, customer sites, vendor locations, and vehicles, then subdivide them into areas, rooms, shelves, bins, or zones. When an item moves, its location updates automatically based on the transaction. The hierarchy is always current without anyone manually maintaining a spreadsheet.

Mobile barcode scanning

The Panatrack ST mobile app is available on both iOS and Android and supports phones, tablets, and dedicated ruggedized scanning devices. Transactions are captured at the point of movement: scan first, everything else follows. No manual data entry required. The same login credentials work across the mobile app and the browser-based Panatracker Portal, so your team moves between devices without friction. Supports standard barcodes as well as GS1, UDI, and HIBC formats.

Signature Capture

Capture digital signatures directly on the mobile device at the point of any transaction that requires it: check outs, transfers, custody assignments, or place-in-service activities. The signature is stored with the transaction record and becomes part of the permanent audit trail. For operations where accountability needs to be documented beyond a scan, signature capture adds a layer of verification that holds up in disputes, audits, and compliance reviews.

Role based access

Define user profiles that control which transactions each person can complete and which areas of the system they can access. A warehouse team member can receive and ship but not retire assets. A field technician can check out and check in but not modify item records. A manager can see everything. Role-based access keeps your data clean, and your workflows disciplined without requiring IT involvement in day-to-day operations. Profiles are configured in the Panatracker Portal and can be adjusted at any time.

Reporting and grid views

Access prebuilt and configurable reports for transaction history, asset utilization, custody and location summaries, maintenance records, and inventory levels. Advanced grid views let you filter, sort, and export data across any dimension: by item, by location, by custodian, by date range, or by project. Reports are available in the Panatracker Portal and can be scheduled or run on demand. The data that drives accountability on the ground is the same data available for operational reporting and management review.

REST API & Webhooks

Panatrack ST integrates with ERP platforms, WMS solutions, and other business systems through a documented REST API. Inbound and outbound data flows are supported: push item data into ST from your ERP or pull transaction records out for reporting and reconciliation. Webhooks trigger real-time notifications when specific events occur in the platform, so downstream systems stay current without polling. ST is designed to fit into your existing technology stack, not replace it.
