Team roles define what transactions can be performed on behalf of the team. In addition, your users can be assigned to multiple teams or restricted to just one.
They don’t need to be. PanatrackerST offers the flexibility to set up items to be tracked by a unique (serialized) ID we refer to as a Handle, or in a quantity by the item number. Rule assignment options associated with the item category provide further configuration flexibility.
Yes. With our flexible item templates, you can set up tracking different types of items in the system with different rules and expectations on how they are tracked. Consumable type items can be setup differently than returnable assets.
PanatrackerST offers different types of users. System users are licensed users that will be performing transactions and accessing the data. Community users are defined as custodians for check outs and deployed units and do not count toward your license.
PanatrackerST does not define any limits on what assets can be tracked within the system. Your assets don’t even need to necessarily be uniquely serialized. For example, expensed peripherals or small tools can be set up to be tracked by item number based on a quantity instead of assigning each unit a unique ID. PanatrackerST can be used to track just about anything. Item templates define how each category of item is tracked.
PanatrackerST tracks ownership separately from custody and location. Ownership often has financial impact related to fixed assets when an organization has multiple branches or locations. It also nicely supports leased or rented items owned by a vendor or even your customer. Having ownership separated from both custody and location provides another layer of flexibility in the way you track your assets.
